Our Story
GBC was founded with humble beginnings in 2003 by Rev. Dr. John Cook, assisted by Rev. Dr. Mike Maccutcheon and Rev. Dr. Pramod Tantarpale. The first batch of Grace Bible College comprised 22 students—6 female and 16 male. At the time, the college operated with just four faculty members and was housed in a rented facility, where it remained for 11 years. During this foundational phase, we were blessed to receive support and partnership from Indigenous Ministries International. Initially, the college had only a modest library with 300 books.
In 2013, the Lord graciously provided GBC with two acres of land, a gift from Indigenous Ministries International. Construction of the first building took nearly a year, and by 2014, the college officially relocated to its new campus. Today, the GBC campus features a well-furnished library with approximately 20,000 quality volumes, a dining hall, a chapel, boys’ dormitories, and fully equipped classrooms.
